When Carol decided she wanted to live in her van full-time, she partnered with Carolina Van Builders (formerly Carolina Tiny Homes) to help make her nomadic dreams a reality; and boy, are we glad she did! This was one of our favorite builds we’ve done and it was really fun getting to help bring Carol’s ideas to fruition.
Because she’s planning to live in her van year-round, it was important to Carol to be comfortable. We used wool insulation, AC and a heater to keep her van at a comfortable temperature year-round, installed a large fresh water tank and water heater to ensure she has plenty of water to cook, wash, and drink with, and built custom cabinetry to give her plenty of room to store the essentials. Carol plans to travel several months out of the year and enjoy some of the amazing places this country has to offer. We wish Carol and her fine feline friend, Razzy, many safe and happy adventures!
